Stuff like that helps players feel like actual pros when they start experimenting. I prefer there being no tutorial.

I gave it a try this morning, I never played Skate 3 but I did play Skate 1 and 2, somehow the game feels awful though. The controls feel really really sluggish like akin to controlling arthur morgan slugish just movement on the board feels really unresponsive.The games kinda fun but I'm not sure what the purpose of it being multiplayer is because I'm not playing against people if there were games of SKATE going on around at different spots it would be fun but it just feels like a mostly mediocre designed map. I've skated a few spots but none of them so far felt as good as the community center park in the first game and again why the hell do you move so fast it feels like instead of landing tricks naturally the game constantly has to aim assist you into transitions because you move too fast.

It's not that bad if you just want to skate around and fuck around. The biggest problems is the art style, lack of soul, and limited challenges. But as a game to just skate around in, its pretty good.It could have been done waaay better, but I think Skate as in a GaaS model makes sense. Its always been more of free skate endlessly replayable game, so if its a service now, they can continually add new stuff. Just a shame it launched so barebones. 6/10 seems about right, and the 100k players is probably people who are just fucking around and don't care about all the stuff I mentioned.
