reminder for anyone who wants to play the highest difficulty on their first playthrough that it's easy to set with cheat engine.Difficulty is a simple variable with easy, normal, hard, and vary hard being stored as 0-3, and the unlockable difficulty being 4. It's easy to find the variable by toggling between hard and very hard while searching for 2 or 3, and when you find the difficulty variable set it to 4. Should hold as long as you don't touch the difficulty setting.these flower puni only have 213 hp on very hard so it's a bit of an increase.

I'm honestly sick of shipping in JRPGs in general. I'm generally fine with a MC pairing but that's about as far as I can accept. Why can't characters just be friends? Why do they need to be romantic? There's nothing that ruins a good party dynamic more than shipping cancer. Tales of Arise was the most egregious examples of this cause it just felt like 3 pairs of people who happened to be travelling together more than a single cohesive group. Just let characters be platonically fond of each other and respect each other as people without wanting to fuck. Is it really that hard?

JRPGs when they have all the romantic tension just have that be like all there is to the characters. Side character romance should always be kept to a minimum to achieve a good feelings group dynamic. It's why I think this game works so well with just the MC pairing and every other character being free to just interact normally and have good moments.
