I'm convinced its impossible to get a dark fantasy, co-op dungeon crawler with a decent budget. This was the closest thing to what I wanted out of an ideal game.

There were a bunch of other third-party spin-offs in development that were all cancelled, Arkane's just the one that got the most attention due to being the furthest along.The same shit happened with the original Mac port of Half-Life. Valve cancelled it for business reasons (they were pissed at Apple) but everyone assumed it was somehow Logicware's fault and blamed them for making a bad port (they didn't, Valve was happy enough with the work they paid them the full contract despite never releasing it).
