>>721904598Ok I will talk about it. Spyro 1 blows 2 & 3 out of the water and it isn't even close. The gay little hover you get in Spyro 2 completely trivializes any jumping challenge you could possibly run into. Fucked up a jump and about to fall to your death? That's ok hit your 'mommy help me!' button and clamber onto the platform anyway. Misjudged a glide and not going to make it to the platform? Just hover at the end lol. Levels in 2 & 3 have less sheer drops to your death than Spyro 1 where they are everywhere probably because designers realized they gave a tool to players that let them never die ever again.Spyro 1 tucks its gems away in obscure locations that encourage you to scour every level to collect everything. Your forced to make risky glides or figure out how you're suppose to reach certain spots. In 2 & 3 the gems are all easy as fuck to get. Levels instead are padded with retarded gimmick mini games that probably sucks to complete levels.

Meanwhile every level in 1 is just a random place with green shitters strewn about. 3 would be above 1 if the levels weren't fragmented by loading screens, really ruins the flow of them for me. I know in the OG it was probably due to memory constraints, but if they actually REMADE that for the remake and had no loading screens between segments, it could've made 3 so much better.

One of my childhood friends loved it but I had never playedI got the collection and played 1, don't remember if I 100%ed it, I remember hating trying to get 100% in the treetop level because you can never see where you might need to go off the ramps and the running on the ramps is annoying with a weird cameraI started 2 and played it a bit but all the gay new characters sort of annoyed me
