Being based on the original source code is interesting, and if it turns out better than Fresh Supply as a result, that's great. But this is still a marketing blunder. With the title "Refreshed Supply" directly and explicitly referencing the previous remaster, nobody can be blamed for thinking it's just a re-release of that one as opposed to an entirely separate development effort. Moreover, even with a total ground-up rewrite, the end result is still basically the same game, with no substantially new content that wasn't already available, MAYBE with fewer bugs (but we can only wait and see), and so of course people who bought the game already are going to expect it for free, as is basically standard practice even for remasters that add more features then this one does.
