When I want good usagi I just stick to fanfiction where she is allowed to actually be awesome instead of just status quo episodic. The less said about the manga the better. Estelle though. Kondo just wanted it to be more ambiguous because Japan appealed to Japanese teenagers who are scared of real commitment. There's even a good quote by Estelle in TC where she says something a long the lines of "maybe Joshua and I will get married, maybe we will fall out of love, it's good that it happened" which I think is what Kondo wanted. For it to not be so set in stone (so he can ship Joshua with Jossete without feeling guilty)
