What went wrong?
>>
A lot. The combat is worse. The boon RNG is terrible and way too wide. None of the weapons are fun. The mirror is a cool idea but bad execution and nerfs everything from the first game all around. Trinkets somehow less interesting. 0 good boss fights. Pretty much every character is unlikable and for some reason they niggerfied all of the Gods, or made them gay/disabled. This game is a testament to the idea that companies never know why their games get popular.

The entire premise of the sequel just didn't grab me as much as the first one. Frantically fighting to escape the grasp of your overbearing father (who you see every time you Game Over) so you can go find your mother who you've never known, finding out the reason she left, eventually reuniting her with said father and making your own peace with him was infinitely more compelling than fighting to get into a place so you can kill your overbearing grandfather and rescue your entire family that you've literally never known.
>>
>>721991116
That doesn't make sense.
If you cared about the characters in Hades 1, why wouldn't you care about them in 2?
Your brother and father and mother are all missing. You'd think you'd be compelled to find out what happened to all of them?
>>
man 30+ fear underground is so much easier than 24+ surface
also the black coat focusing on special is so good at higher fear levels because you can keep at range
>>
>>721991116
the entire plot of hades 2 is contrived as fuck in comparison
how do you go from
>literally needing to escape hell, the place you get sent when you die, and your father is literally hades
to
>uhh return to shadow now??

Nice, I think I'll skip this shit then. I see too many niggers irl as is, don't need them in my living room as well.

because the characters in 1 were just barely normal enough to not give me the ick
the characters in 2 give me the ick

>>
I like Hades 2 but I once again question why this got such high ratings from critics.
>>
>>721992079
The answer seems to be that witchcraft is completely OP to the point witches hoarding it is the only reason why every god can't just kill Chronos (and probably each other soon after, gods being gods)

It doesn't help so many of the other plot points were just resolved abruptly and tritely.

>Hypnos just...wakes up and goes to work
>The Fates were never in trouble lmao, actually Chronos never had them imprisoned for anything, he just threw them in a cosmic abyss and lost track of them
>You never see the thing Zeus was going to stop Typhon with by blowing up half the mountain, it's not even clear if it's a ritual or device or whatever
>Zag's bossfight is just a lame game of tag instead of turning my busted Dion-Demeter-Zeus duo Beowulf shield nuke against me, definitely does NOT play like the guy who can solo Asterios and Theseus
>Arachne tells Athena to fuck off and she does

It's completely divorced from, say, the arc of Thanatos standing up to Hades for Zag. Here shit just kind of happens after a while.

No doubt the "diversity" designs got them some points. It's not a bad game but this does NOT deserve 9/10 or higher.
As far as gameplay goes it's not like they do anything amazing there. Most if not all the stats for the weapon aspects feel random and their impact varies insanely from easy win to completely pointless, which makes no sense cause something so important has to have a baseline otherwise why would you pick the shit ones. The boon-to-boon and boon-to-weapon synergies are extremely basic. There's nothing that creates some unique interaction and 95% of it all is just the moment you hit you get an additional effect. The resources and the spells you can do are so boring too and don't make your runs any more interesting either.
And funny enough they do worse at the writing and the unique dialogue scenarios cause it's what they supposedly pride themselves with. There's barely any special dialogue and what's there is so basic and boring. The overall writing is mediocre at best, stuff like Dora's questline just gets... nowhere and you can't even romance her if you'd even care. And need I talk about the terrible insanely rushed ending?

Yeah it really doesn't deserve such a high schore. I'm ASSUMING it's cause of the shit designs that pleases californians but I dunno. It's fun enough to just hop in and do a run if you get it on cheap which I did on early access but I wouldn't get it for its current price knowing what I know now.

>>

i think it was very after school special, but i did like lolinoe and chronos playing hide and seek and mel and zags relationship
>>
>>721996260
>The ending wasn't that bad
>literally an offscreen magical redemption arc
>the Olympian gods, consistently characterised as petty vindicative cunts willing to smite you over choosing the other guy's boon...forgive Chronos and let him make amends??
>Mel and Zag's differences about what to do with Chronos aren't really addressed at all and everyone just moves on because happy days are here again or some shit
It was a terrible ending carried hard by snappy dialogue and passable music supporting a conceptually asinine premise.
>>
>>721996337
See I hated the "look he's playing tag, just like Hecate!" because of how shallow it was compared to Zag's much more bitter memories of Hades leading up to their reconciliation. If I'm hard on the story of Hades 2 and consider it more flash than substance, it's because I have Hades 1 to compared-and I'll be the first to say I wished the secret of what was going on went a bit darker, but I was still satisfied by the storytelling.

This whole game's story is like a Michael Bay movie that suddenly segues into a Disney ending.
>>
>>721996260
the end credits in this game were worse than the first ones because the guy playing apollo is not a good singer especially compared to orpheus from the first game or even scylla

I mean what could they have done? World without time isnt world at all, and gods being fickle is a literal plotpoint. Chronos did mellow out way too hard tho. I didnt like it, but I didnt think it was that terrible either. Except how hard it painted Mel and Zag as polar opposites. It was a chance to see some growth from Mel, but no she remained the child soldier for the entire thing.

>I mean what could they have done? World without time isnt world at all
The same thing they did with the Fates. The characters often talk about whether every little choice you make is actually the Fates but at the very end when you actually meet the Fates the loli one of them says they're gonna stop weaving heavily implying that what they do isn't so strongly tied to people's choices and free will. They can do the same with time and say nothing much would change with Chronos dead
Or have a MUCH longer process of convincing Chronos of stopping and him changing.
>>
this game is absolute fucking slop. every run is literally just a series of bland combat arenas with randomly spawning enemies. There is no interesting encounter design outside of the bosses, and even those fucking suck. This trash is nothing more than a mindless gambling simulator.

I think you're being unfair treating this as evidence to compare other things to, rather than as a mistake on its own.
Clearly they just wanted to copy the mechanic over from Hades 1 because it's cool in gameplay... but ignored the part where Hades 1 had no real stakes to speak of so gods dicking around was fine.
In comparison, in 2 the gods come off as schizophrenic by trying to murder you while you're en-route to saving their asses at their own request.

Bonding with Hecate does go into it a bit, but an aspect of her character that large ought to have been unmissable, like Chronos shitting on her for it and sparking some reflection.

Do you not know what artistic choice means you absolute mong?
It is drawn in a bit of a half-assed style, just like almost everything else in both Hades games, the sloppier style also fits the characters personality.
Also, if it WAS AI slop, why the fuck wouldn't they retouch that? And look at all the other "flaws" in the drawing, AI doesn't do flaws like that, it's usually continuity errors, difficulty with counting or muddled parts on more intricate details.
AI art looks too perfect other than the usual telltale signs, and you can usually see if something is AI art by zooming into the linework as well, the linework is rarely crisp when zoomed into.

I finally beat Chronos with the axe (aspect of Charon). Had to stack a lot of Hera blessings, got lucky with a cast boon that let me target my cast at a distance to set up the Omega special from the axe. Daedalus boons that increased the range of the specials and their damage meant I could fire off specials anywhere in the boss fight and hit Chronos without having to endanger myself much at all, just focus on dodging his attack pattern without worrying about damage since I did so much damage at extreme range safety was more important.

>Making them same person is not a new concept either.
Compared to the time when Greek myth was actually a religion, it IS a new concept.

Also, it is the worst liberty in my opinion, because it fundamentally changes a character. Making Hermes slightly quirky or giving Skylla a girl band or whatever doesn't bother me, it is a modern interpretation of the character while trying to be somewhat thematically coherent. Making Kronos into Chronos isn't a spin on the character, it is just straight up wrong. It's like making Zeus the god of geese because his name sounds like goose.

No, it combines two. Neither have much of a character except paranoia and spite. It basically just combines the domain of Chronos with the position and personality of Kronos.

Plato did not confuse them, but rather drew deliberate parallels between them, suggesting that Cronus's name is a reference to Time and that he shares some aspects with it. Not really conflating the titan and the personification of time, but clearly indicating the similar names is no accident. Plutarch, centuries later, though, did assert that Chronos and Cronos were in fact the same being, though plutarch was writing about mythology that was ancient already to him.

It is no wonder ancient writers were often confusing, mixing and combining the two. And when them being 1 being also fits a narrative its absolute retardation to throw a fit about it.

No, melee is extremely punishing against almost all the bosses. You’ve got to be a master of hit and run or have a special/cast build for single targets to use it, since its melee is best used against normal enemies.
It’s not bad but it’s completely understandable if you fall for the melee trap.

You get a statue from skelly with each one.
IIRC the easiest for 32 is
>hordes

>fangs
>shadow
>hubris
>debt
>1 scars
>1 frenzy
>2 Rivals
Can't be bothered to look up if that fills it all up.
A good AoE build will sail through most of this, especially if you aim for air quality which completely NTRs hubris.

Hades 1 getting massive critical acclaim was pretty baffling to me as well
It was a fairly mediocre action roguelite with a poorly paced story. Other than visual style it does nothing exceptionally well
>>
>>722018997
Hades 1 kind of just released at the right time, before roguelikes became the de facto indie genre. It was some people's first exposure to roguelikes and they wanted the big production value glamorous game so Hades was their pick. I absolutely agree though, Hades 1 had an extremely shallow amount of variety. I desperately tried finding anything interesting in the game and just quit after beating it a couple of times.
>>
>>721995776
I'm enjoying the game but I agree, it feels like an 8/10 or 7 if you're being picky, not something that should be one of the highest-scoring games of the year. I don't even think the designs are that woke or anything, I figure it's more like the studio has built up a lot of good will after making some creatively interesting, underselling game. But even then it feels like that hype should all belong to Hades 1, the sequel really isn't special in comparison

His rival form is the most annoying fight in the game.
Absolutely miniscule safe zones in his first phase, complete clusterfuck attack markers in general and he fucks off to the far side of the map and spams fire breath constantly in his second phase, which is made more annoying by constant AoE spam that makes it hard to close.
The only saving grace is that a single target ranged build can nuke him fairly easily.

What's the trick to phase 3 of Typhon?
Phase 1+2 I can get through more or less fine just sitting under his jaw and dashing out for the slams or the whirlwinds, but phase 3 the slams never line up with the spinning tentacles so I have to go out early and that fucks up the pattern, plus he drops that row of orbs directly in front of him and I can't tell it apart from the orbs that he shoots out into the general area
>>
>>722026026
He has brief instances of doing nothing and also when aftershock of straight forward attack still on the ground.
And when he summons bubbles if you are close to him.
Those are moments to damage him.

There are clean indicators where to stand to not get one shotted.
If you have low damage kill healers.
>>
>>722027186
Focus on dodging his axe swipes and dash. This is a priority. Kill the healbots ASAP. Stand where the instakill moves tell you do. When he does the weird shit where the lines like clockhands show up on the arena I just ignore it cause I don't understand what it does. Hasn't stopped me from killing his old ass, yet.
>>
>>722026830
Also, he does show up in Olympus later on.

>>722027367
That's not the problem, I can never dodge his lunges and swipes because there's too much shit going on in the screen with all of his clutter and my own attacks
>>
>>722027186
If you can get to the second phase then you know how his basic scythe attack patterns work and how to avoid those. In the second phase you have to pay attention to the indicators on the floor of the arena to avoid being one-shot. That takes priority over trying to burst him down. He spawns healers that you should prioritize unless you have a super broken damage build and can just ignore them.

Until I got super familiar with his patterns and better and boon synergy my strategy was to play super safe in the second phase and focus on chipping away at him from range as much as possible. Giving yourself breathing room gives you more time to react .

>>
>>722029146
It's not baffling it's just still annoying, and it's worse in this game than in the last one because woke doesn't just mean "has the gay", you can have the gay in a story/character that still feels natural, woke IMO means "has gay purely to posture, and in a way that actively makes the game worse / is used INSTEAD of writing a meaningful story or genuinely interesting character". It's what >>721991116 said - Hades I had a remarkably engaging story, the gay annoyed me (because every fucking game just HAS TO have the gay...tiresome), but it didn't destroy the good things about the story/world/characters, and it wasn't a just lazy way of adding fake 'character' or 'depth' where it wasn't there in the first place.

I don't think I am. I mean look, Dionysus is partying away while Olympus crumbles, Hera and Zeus' duos with each other are making each other fuck off and Athena is finding time out of her busy schedule to shit on Arachne. I actually think it's entirely in-character for the Olympians to be petty and vindictive even against self-preservation. If anything, Zeus and Hera suddenly showing Chronos leniency after everything is what stands out as bizarre and out of character.

>>721997207
Nigga Hecate's true backstory is one valid solution. Also literally just ask the Fates to enforce their age of mortals, seemingly nobody can actually do anything if the Fates don't want it enough except probably Chaos. And even Chaos doesn't understand the fully limits of his own powers.

Chronos did in fact mellow out way too hard and that is in fact terrible BECAUSE of how Chronos had been characterised up to that point. He was not presented as the same kind of antagonist as Hades was in 1, the stakes were too high, and they flat out ignore the more ideological threat he presented like whether the Golden Age is preferable to the current one because Meli is a dumb child soldier. It would be like if you defeated Atriox by going back in time and giving him a hug so that in the present he just wants to hug humans.

Vidya critics really just follow the tide.

What they want is to confirm their audience's expectations which lets them maintain both that audience and their credibility.

So Hades 1 was good, and they think the same people will like Hades 2. Hence good reviews. It's that simple.
They would never contradict expectations unless it was a flaming trash heap.

Nope. Dora is just there with her sex voice and you can't scissor with her ghost poon.

Melinoe's romantic options are... not great. She has choice between Strife Incarnate, Vengeance Incarnate, DOOM Incarnate, or a sad quirky ghost boy whose life is a parable about hubris.

Out of those, Icarus is probably the least awful to be around though he is a tragic figure.

I don't understand the story or how you gotta keep replaying it without breaking the story. In the first game Zagreus becomes a corpo-tier "security specialist" in post-game so things kinda make sense but here I don't understand how.
I suppose I should just keep playing.
>>
Are there any substantial changes/improvements from H1 or is this more or less more of the same?
>>
Why are the weapons such a boring shit?
Only the skulls are fun to use. Fists are dreadfully undertuned and the starting four all blend together.
>>
>>722030606
I personally don’t, but I can at least understand WHY people would perceive Charon is hard on their first few runs. I cleared Zag going in blind. After a while I only got hit because I just got sloppy from how easy it was to keep giving him the good old runaround/dodgespam this game drills into you. Zagreus is literally easier than the tree lady that shoots projectiles in terms of mechanics, he just has more health.

>>722031113
>kills Chronos, who soloed Zag and his entire family including the fucking incarnations of Night and Death (temporarily)
>knocks down Typhon, the thing ZEUS feared, and eventually kills him for good
>repeatedly uses witchcraft to break fundamental rules of the setting. Comes up with an incantation to walk on the surface which kills Zag in seconds
>Hecate is actually a bad future version of her who succeeded in killing Chronos, merged with his powers, and went so far back in the past none of the other gods remember her as anything except a Titaness
It is very, very clear lorewise that Meli is ultimately much deadlier than Zag solely because of witchcraft hax. And possibly more powerful since fluffwise the Hexes are supposedly Selene unlocking her innate potential. Sometimes. I mean the moon slam is probably Selene doing an assist but Dark Side is apparently HER super mode.

This isn’t necessarily a bad thing. As the ending shows fighting and winning isn’t necessarily anything, and it makes it all the funnier Zagreus’ superior social skills let him fix the problem in a way Meli hasn’t been able to in a way that left her happy.

They are kinda just... the same as spamming ranged on a sickle or staff attack. You just hold the attack button and turn your brain off.

Gameplay is a lot more dynamic between runs with different weapons feeling very different and aspects of them changing gameplay significantly, and there's more emphasis on positioning and being smart instead of just trying to reflex dodge through everything.

Lernie was fun because Zagreus' banter is usually great and Lernie was just a wall for him to bounce jokes off of.

For me it’s her Vow of Rivals mode making Meli ask Ody if he knows Scylla and Charibdys have been collaborating recently, and he just goes “…yes??” making Meli think they really have been in a band for ages. All the Odysseykino jokes are great really. I wasn’t a fan of how they did Circe but I do appreciate they sort of make clear she has a vindictive side Meli isn’t inquisitive enough to pick up, judging from how she dodges around talking about Odysseus and Scylla.

Whatever your playstyle is being able to buy more shit at Charon shops/Hermes chairs is going to make it better. Second apart from contributing base damage numbers which matters way more than some gay little percentage slapped onto Meli’s pillow hands, his sea foam damage adder things made him respectable for boss killing as long as you can hit repeatedly. That’s the key for Poseidon I think-for best results you want a rapid shot weapon so you benefit from his knockback and position enemies for his other wave-like boons. He does fall short in single target damage potential. My preference is to put him on the torches’ special then Zeus on the attack, so Arc just procs while things are stunlocked out of reach.

>qrd on aphrodite?
Cast is deceptively good because putting everyone in one spot makes them easier to take out with an Omega attack. They nerfed her damage-adder into the ground but it’s still as good as your own skill level since it doubles while you’re healthy. Due to Hades 2 being more focused on casts and spammy attacks than heavy hits I feel she’s less useful for raw damage than in 1 where you could put her attack on the sword and hit bigly, but she’s still decent for utility.

Ares won bigly in this game even after they nerfed him.

>Feels like the whole game is shouting at me to do that so out of pure spite I invest in specials and just ignore that shit.
I'm with you, I think they didn't like that some people didn't bother with it in Hades 1 but making it free to cast just made me less interested in it. And even when I use it with some decent stuff it's not topping my DPS charts anyway. It's better for effects without dedicated builds.

>Equip the axe

Any early access niggas here? did the axe got giga nerfed or something? cause I can't imagine why would they release 1.0 with this garbage
>>
>>722046436
I found it all funny.
>>
>>722046461
it just requires a different build
still weaker than the rest of the weapons though, at least baseline
>>
This game is boring. Binding of isaac is more fun roguelike game. Is this what normal faggots want? Voice acting and pretty graphics rather than a fun game?
>>
>>722046461
I…don’t think so? Axe and flames are still easily the most OP weapons in the game. To BTFO the cyclops just put Ares on special then keep running to the other end of the map and walloping him with crimson shockwaves. That’s it. That’s the entire secret. Oh you can spice it up with Hera/Aphrodite’s damage addres, add Zeus’ chaining lightning or targettable cast if you’re feeling fancy. But fundamentally for the purposes of fighting the cyclops, the axe is a BFG you shoot at him from afar. If you are close enough to spin, something has gone very wrong.

What are the best weapons to clear shit if I'm new to the game and not that good?

I just discovered the Circe staff and how retardedly overpowered it is to just take Zeus cast and go nuts. Any other similarly strong and braindead builds?

which god is the one that lets you cast your big circle aoe at range again?
>>
>>722047162
Yes you are. You learned Hades 2’s dirty little secret: It wants you to prevail with death by a thousand cuts instead of big flashy hits like it was possible to in 1.
>>
>>722048527
Zeus Lightning Lance lets you aim your casts

Hestia fireball shoots your cast like a fireball
>>
>>722046461
No the axe feels countered by that bitch ass cyclops. I had to semi-cheese it with Charon
>>
The fist weapons are so disappointing

I really liked the gun in Hades 2 because of how cool it was to have a futuristic gun in a mythological setting like Hades so I'm disappointed at how shitty the fists are in Hades 2.
The missile lock-on is so awfully slow, the damage is quite awful for how long it takes to cast and they really put the miss in missile because they miss a lot despite having lockon.
>>
>>722048661
Honestly getting good with this game feels like just embracing cheese-like behaviour. Olympus is a good example. You are actively punished for fighting the spinning automatons “fair” and not jumping corners while shooting at them from around cover. And Typhon’s spawn actively cheat in various ways.
>>
>>722046461
What they changed from early early access is that the omega special used to have a shield, which they gave to the fists instead. To me axe is all about charging the omega attack and then dashing into a group of enemies, that with the hidden aspect is the only thing that allows me to clear high fear with the axe.
>>
>>722048878
Isn't that the entire point of roguelikes? Roguelikes do not play fair so why should you? The fun of these games is figuring out the broken shit and cheesing the enemies with your weapon of choice
>>
>>722048956
>What they changed from early early access is that the omega special used to have a shield, which they gave to the fists instead.
The shield on the fists seems shitty because it only blocks one hit, can sometimes fail to block and you're gonna eat shit on multi hit moves
>>
>>722048973
I mean kind of, but there are degrees you know? Like Hades 2 normal gameplay makes spamming Athena dashes in 1 look equitable by comparison.
>>
Why is Born Gain considered the best mana regen boon? Isn't it cripplingly bad to have your entire MP bar primed and have no way of using any abilities once you reach the limit?
>>
>>722049138
It only primes a bit of your max for a full refill, no? And it refreshes once you leave the current map too I think.
>>
>>722048973
the best ones feel fair.
Hades 1 felt fair for example
>>
>>722049138
fire lady has the best mana regen 2bh.
That shit with the torches goes hard
>>
>did 16 Fear for my last Chronos run for postgame since that's what a weapon needed and I felt like pushing it
>ended up going in with 50% HP because of some bad misplays in the final room, think I'm fucked
>end the fight with 9 HP left out of my 120 to start with
Sweet.
>>
>>722049138
Is it? Cardio is insane on any fast or cleave attack build, and the free mana on cast running out is decent otherwise + pairs with quick cast duration for faster regen
>>
>>722049138
If you have a good enough amount of total MP and/or good rarity, there are no rooms with enough enemies or bosses with enough HP to survive you unloading your whole MP bar until it's fully primed as long as you have a half decent build. Making it effectively infinite MP that you don't have to do anything to reload or wait like other MP boons. They had to nerf it hard because it used to be pretty much infinite MP even at base MP, but it's still absurd.
>>
so based on the comments in this thread, axe and fire goddess is the way to go?
>>
>>721990253

It's alright but it turns into a massive collectathon and a winning run is up to the RNG Gods.

Mel is a cute though.
>>
I find any Mana boon makes Mana infinite, it's just some are a bit more convenient than others.
>>
>>722049215
It primes X mana once you run out of Mana

So if you have 100 max mana and run out, it primes X mana and refills. The issue is, it keeps doing this until your entire MP bar is primed.

>>722049292
>>722049331
Yeah, I like Cardio gain when I'm spamming attacks or specials but if you're using a build that spams omegas then you're shit out of luck.

>>722049332
I guess the issue is finding the half-decent build. The best build I tried so far was cast build with zeus that shits on everything but I took demeter regen on that run instead.
Only thing I haven't solved is how to activate Origination with Zeus because the thunders don't proc a status unlike with Poseidon or Apollo where you can throw in Arctic gale and get free Origination.
>>
>>722049382
anyone else thinks Mel has no personality?
>>
>>722049337
There's this tier list I got from reddit made by speedrunners:
https://mobalytics.gg/hades-2/tier-list
But you can just watch high heat speedrunners in general to get a feeling for what is OP.

>>722049138
IMO, going by feeling and ignoring completely the thing I just posted, it goes:
>Hera
Best overall but might need you to get a few MP upgrades before it feels like it.

>Hestia
Best for fast attack builds, basically infinite MP with the "spend MP for double attack" spear upgrade for example.

>Aphrodite
Not as reliable if you're spamming a lot, but amazing for spreading the weak damage resistance while you do nothing just for being close, great on the axe for example.

>Hephaestus
Tied for the best with Aphrodite if you're not actually using your MP since it's just free damage resistance.

>Others
Varying levels of OK or OP depending on your build.
>>
This game must be kino if anons are actually discussing gameplay and, mostly, ignoring shitposts.

This guy is one of the best sources of info for Hades but the problem is that he's like end end end end game so it's not relatable for people who play casually like me. Still useful for info at how people do things at the very top though.

base torches are very easy to use and can clear the game with anything

Isn't Charon's thing to explode your casts?

It is. Don't see the point in doing all that setup instead of executing the moves themselves.

Not anymore I think, it used to be better but they changed it in the last few patches to the point that now it's balanced enough for people to argue for either;

>>
>>722051684
I don't really like them. Attack spam feels weak, special misses all the time, the Omegas don't feel very good either.
>>
>>722051684
Best thing I can do with fists is the upgrade that makes you dash attack hit multiple times, and add hestia or chain lightning
>>
>>722051982
Pretty much yeah, that's my opinion too. Not sure how they released this weapon like this where everything about it sucks.

Aspect of Shiva changes the missiles to a bouncing ball that seems more usable so I might try that but Base and Selene suck ass.
>>
>>722051419
Gorgon Amulet makes Death Defiance really strong but it costs a Keepsake slot for a region which Strength doesn't have to do. Spamming Death Defiances on a bigger health pool is more overall HP, it's just replenishing it which also eats into gold sometimes. Conversely Strength is low maintenance, it's easy to keep your HP filled with Fountains mostly and it makes a lot of boons much more attractive options, the unconditional extra damage is helpful too. I do think they're both good.
>>
When does my book starts showing the relationship progress of the characters?
>>
>>722052270
DDs feel more forgiving personally if you fuck up a mechanic like the Simon Says bossfight on the surface or Chronos instakill.

The chronos instakill is easy to avoid but I still get hit a lot by the simon says move because how the fuck do you expect me to remember all that
>>
>>722052482
Yeah, DD is definitely much more forgiving, it's like Strength allots you a portion of your DD health pool every region so it's good if you're familiar enough to get by with that but DD keeps you going past that if you use it to its fullest.
