Just out of curiosity, what build are you guys using for time trials? I just use EG and a boost build and they're pretty easy. Dunno why some have said it's so hard.
It was kind of funny at first, but the bagging meta being so strong just killed any enjoyment I was having after a while and I've already uninstalled the game.
Extended Slipstream + Slipstream Bounty is a busted combo more people need to know about. It's honestly better than using Air Trick Expert + Air Trick Bounty for gaining rings since it's constant, takes up less gadget slots, gives a passive speed buff while you're in the pack, and you'll likely never escape the pack anyway to nullify its benefits. I've gotten so many wins where having 100 rings cushioned with 130 Ring Limit made the difference in the last few moments of a race and all I did to get those rings was participate.

For Sonic Speed the main courses are actually harder to S rank than crossworlds but for Super Sonic Speed Crossworlds are an absolute bitch to S rank.General advice is get to 100 rings ASAP and maintain them. If a wisp is too wide on a corner and you're not cutting offroads you can avoid them to shave seconds off your time. Boat sections can be made significantly faster by equipping Air Trick Adept and spamming level 1 jumps, only do this on straights however, with turns make sure you fully clear it before you release your boost otherwise you slow down a ton.Hardest stages imo across both difficulties are Metal Harbor, Pumpkin Mansion, Kraken Bay and White Cave. I can't really give much advice other than practice and be consistent so you get used to the timing of course obstacles. Good Luck anon, I'm not much of a good advice giver.
