How does it compare to STALKER 1? Did it meet expectations? How is the modding community?

>>722069771>did it meet expectationsI played it after release. It was alright. It is story-driven, though you do get plenty of space to just go around and do whatever. It did develop some bugs after 1.5 update for me though. They released 1.6 update, and now you have NVG. 1.5 added Colt pistol (which is REALLY good and you can get it early) and Mossin rifle (which is also damn good). They have DLCs in the pipeline, so i hope they will give us some more weapons like Walther, Beretta, SIG pistol and rifle, maybe even another pump-action shotgun.Its good. About as good as 1st stalker game.

Stalker 2 is just trash. I have a 7900xt btw I played it in 4k. Yeah it's beautiful when you're ignoring Lumen shitting the bed constantly in any indoor scene. The music is also great. That's it, it looks beautiful and the music is great. EVERY ELSE IS PURE SHIT.

I've read all the patch notes but they're not very specific.The quality drop after SIRCAA was probably the biggest i've ever come across in a game - getting to Prypyat only to find it completely empty with no sidequests at all was pretty heartbreaking.I'm not one for crafting in games either generally, but having just played Tainted Grail, I feel the game would have benefitted from a ingredients/recipe/cooking system as opposed to just having diet sausage the whole game
