I spent the past hour reading the tutorial texts Arazlam talks about. I never did that before. I learned you can get rid of the doom status by hitting the afflicted with a white staff. Also I learned if everyone in your party has the vampire status, it's game over.
I can see why purists are upset about the translation changes because it makes the game feel less edgy and emotional. They took out lines refrencing God, religious references in general, rape, and other stuff. The game is supposed to show the realistic cruelty of war because that is what the story is about. Not gonna lie, I am disappointed there is no Onion Knight. Onion Knights are my niggas 4 real. Also kinda mixed feelings on the openning animation. It is better than the original CG animation from the 97 version, but it doesn't have the same kinda etheral style as the living art animations from the WotL version. another thing 4chinners (mostly forma de marrón) were crying about was that the difficulty didn't get integrated Google DeepMind with quantum AI, but the difficulty changes so far on Tactician are nice. The damage increase means even if you grind, you will still get hit hard (mages can one shot you) and the enemy doesn't go down like a sack of potatoes. It works very nice as a Vanilla+ feeling difficulty. We'll see if it slows down the rocket tag in chapter 3-4
