Is it okay to cheat money in single player games?Or enjoying intended by developers gameloop is more important?
>>722146148all that matters is that you play how i want you to play
>>722146148you didnt play the game
Is it okay to skip the radiant quest-tier grind? Your answer will say a lot about you
>>722146148in RDR of all things? really you goddamn shitter?
>>722146148The parts near the start of these games where you actually need to manage your money, weapons, and ammunition are the most fun parts of the game. By midgame you have hundreds of thousands of dollars (or the 1911 equivalent in this case) and you never have to worry about running out of ammo. You just go to place, kill the man, collect five-figure reward.
>>722146148>intended game loop>please buy out mtx to fast track our force grind session.Yeah no
>>722146148>Is it okay to cheat money in single player games?yes if you can unlock costumes for multiplayer which would otherwise cost real money that way street fighter 6 world tour mode & costume 2s
>>722146148I cheated game corner money in Heart Gold because it's bullshit to have to play Voltorb Flip for 5 hours just to get the good TMs
>>722146148>Is it okay to cheat money in single player games?it is if the cheating is funi explicitely cheat on purpose to get the other players big mad so i can gun them down

>>722146528You don't really need money in any rockstar game at all though, outside of unlocking cosmetics(since SA) and making experience more fun by buying weaponsBut at no point you really need it, or even need to care about your ammo
it's not cheating if you pay with real money :)
Gothic 2 is a good example of money progression. Without the hobo phase you won't fully enjoy becoming wealthy.
I cheat in single player survival games but only to make certain things easy since I'm playing solo, without making the entire experience pointless. No I'm not gonna venture 8000 miles out from my base then simply walk back, but I won't teleport 8000k miles from my base or directly back to some place I found there on the way, and I might even do the walk back if it's like 2/3rds of that or less. If I'm missing like 4 things of an item that's rare then yeah fuck that I'm not gonna spend the next 5 hours wandering around looking for 4 more of that thing that comes in bundles of specifically 168. Most of my cheating is related to building the structure and design of my base and removing inane tedium like you're missing exactly one tenth of a piece of rare goochwood so you can't craft the thing you need. I justify it by telling myself "haha wow I found slightly more than I expected" or "I simply needed or wanted one less teaspoon of salt in this recipe". Only MP game I ever cheated on was maple a long time ago but that was for money purposes.
>>722146148It's better to not mod your games until you 100% them or are otherwise done with them. Certainly do not install any QoL mod, ever. Cheats can be used for fun after you're done with the game.
>>722146148Depends. I only cheat if I got bored with intended gameplay loop but still want see what game offers but it's rare. I also love to cheat if game mechanics are cool so I can just mess around. I used to love doing npc battles as a kid.
