Why won’t the dev remove the forced-transition to an other civilisation? Why don’t they allow players to turn it off and play classic mode? I won’t buy this game until they fix it, the game wasn’t released yet and the playerbase already expressed they were against that change, it’s the least popular CIV game ever. Why are they being so autistic, is a higher-up butthurt because his idea failed?

>>722163156According to some glassdoor review apparently the lead dev came back from some vacation and completely scrapped much of the early design-work for the game and pushed hard for that mechanic among other things. He steamrolled the people who told him no.
