Every layer of always-online, two-step authentication, or multiple launchers, they keep adding to games is just making everything worse.For example, Far Cry 5 on Steam requires Steam AND the UbisoftConnect launcher. Except UbisoftConnect is shit and rarely connects to their servers. So, when I try to play Far Cry 5 (or any Ubisoft game), it throws an error at least 2 out of 3 tries then shuts down because it can't connect to the Ubisoft server. And UbisoftConnect removed the ability to easily toggle it to start in Offline mode. They removed the setting from the settings section in the app. You have to go into the config file and manually force it to start in offline mode, then lock the file to Read Only so the launcher can't change it. THEN, FINALLY, the fucking game will start 100% of the time when you try to launch it. Again, I'm not a physical-fag, I'm just sayin ... I get it.
