I actually started it yesterday since I kept hearing how much better it is than Genshin, HSR, or ZZZ.
Granted, I only play HSR now, and played ZZZ on launch and Genshin for a while when it launched, but...
I really didn't like Wuthering Waves. Yeah, it does look better than Genshin or HSR (no fucking surprise with former), and I guess the gameplay is kinda better than Genshin...? But man, the story and characters are such fucking ass.

1.0 is pretty notoriously bland, I'd recommend giving it another try and just skipping until you get to the dragon island at least.

I personally think 1.X taking place in Chinkland is a blessing in disguise. Gets rid of Chinkslop and wuxiaslop early and made 2.X great mainly because it's not Chinkslop. I certainly don't want Cartethyia to be named like Chinglongbong.

I don't even necessarily hate Chinese names or aesthetic. The Space China in HSR wasn't that bad. But it's more that WW just completely fucks up the start, there's very little to hook players in with.

I just want to play Encore's games, whether it's a tea party with Woolies or a little bit of wrestling and stuff is fine by me. I hear WuWa runs like shit on PS5 PRO which is a shame. I was thinking of giving it another try but I might test Infinity Nikki instead to see how it runs

WuWa is weird for me because no matter what kind of gooner bait character they're going to release in the future, femRover will be the one that pop my boner the most.
They shoved me Changli, Shorekeeper, and Iuno but she's still by far the character that I lost galloons to the most.
