I swear Sirenmon and Bacchusmon are the only characters with anything close to some kind of emotional payoff that makes you give a fuck, with the silver medal going to Shellmon and Divermon I guess, but even that's not great.Also as one last rant, the fact that ADAMAS including your partner from the beginning of the game is completely fake and nonsense is legitimately terrible and a massive plothole. It really pisses me off that everything to do with that part of the story was a complete was of time.

The twist is that the player character isn't even a person, but instead a failed form of Aegiomon from a different timeline so all those scenes between Aegiomon and Inori happened between the protagonist and Inori in a different timeline, but that reveal doesn't come until near the end and the player is expected to recontextualize everything from the game. I think the issue people are going to have that the protagonist is just pretty much an accessory to Aegiomon. Other than the story I did like a bunch of stuff that they did with the game. It doesn't feel as grindy as CS and the ride Digimon feature was cool but pointless.
