I find the situation with Half Life fascinating. The game came out at a time when people were practically unfamiliar with linear FPS games with storylines. From Half Life 2 to today, however, this formula became the norm, then fell out of favor. But since Half Life didn't have its long-awaited sequel, it remains in limbo without suffering the criticism that other games suffered for putting the player in set pieces and forcing them to follow a script like a stupid retard.Anyway, all Half Life games are bad, and I'm surprised there are so many fans of an FPS with such horrible gameplay. It's proof that video games aren't really for people who like the "game" part, but for those who like to feel like Hollywood actors in a grand plot, even if the gameplay is complete garbage.
