>>722328452Art and atmosphere is 10/10. Gameplay wise it was a big disappointment. Apparently if you have played the demo, you already got most of the vibe of the game. Buy it if you have the money to spare or just pirate it. I expected way more effects and interactions between certain NPCs so you actually get rewarded depending on who you let in, but nope. For example in the game Fear & Hunger, you get rewarded with the true ending of the game if you manage to keep the Little Girl ( who is a sub-par team member ) with the true ending of the game alongside cool lore. I was 100% expecting something similar with this game at least lore wise, but nope, nothing. It's basically a worse version of a Light Novel because the writing needed a lot, lot more work.Great premise ruined by shitty gameplay and writing. Go play Look Outside instead. It has a similar door visitor mechanic and an actual game behind it. Or play Voices of the Void if you want the "comfy inside safe space while unknown horrors outside" vibe. Personal 6.5/10 just by the atmosphere and art.

I would love it if you could tell if they are bad or not right away if you just look at them and pay close attention. But no, they all look warped or distorted so fuck intuitiveness. I get this has been done before but you can still keep reinventing this. Just figuring out right away by the vague red flags is boring. Whatever they tell you at the door does not matter, you let them in and check them. In the demo you could atleast eventually learn which ones are good and which ones are bad since they always were either humans or visitors, but now like half are randomized so that is just thrown out of the window. The widow character is the only interesting one to interact with.
