I also spent $5000 on my computer (including peripherals) since 2018. And I've realised I mostly played indie games, or not very graphically demanding games. But I still don't regret spending that much on my pc. The extra performance and quality of life made everything smoother. And I'm going to spend 10k soon on upgrades. Unfortunately, none of the gachas at the moment appeal to me.
