It basically just gives 0 battle EXP or Scan Data and only one item that grants EXP, so it's more of a nudge towards an evolution than anything. It is unironically most likely going to be a lot faster to just grind exp normally at endgame since you'll level everyone + the box members at the same time while also gathering scan data for Digimon Load + items, whereas the DLC Outer Dungeons just give a decent chunk to one Digimon only.
