>>722343171Every time I picked up my 3DS XL, I got bored within 5-10 minutes, all of the games on there have no replay value or are just remakes of older games (SM64, OOT, DKC, etc) meant to be portable, which I solved in 2006 already with my PSP. The 3DS never delivered one single great game ever.
I remember using it more as an emulation handheld after modding it than for playing any of the native 3DS games.

I do think it's a significant loss that we don't have this anymore. Switch is inefficient as a portable game console and phones are skinner box scam machines. True pocket gaming died with the 3DS.

The dpad sucks but I'm still having a good time with old games on it. The resolution is good for them. Then there's MonHun and other 3ds games I play. I think n3ds has plenty life left for me.And this is said before, but Virtual Boy Wario Land looks so good. It's bizarre they waited until the Switch 2.

3ds launch model was fucking awesome. I love the extending stylus, it fits nice in any pocket. came with a charging dock, looked sexy as fuck! My only problem is how the bottom screen would leave an imprint on the top. How did they fuck that one up?

Not sure if it's just mine, but the TN has worse response times, so when an object scrolls from the top to bottom screen, the ghostly blur it leaves behind is fairly obvious to me. But TN are said to have better response times so not sure what's going on.

I begged my mom to buy a 3ds and then Wii U hoping these consoles would see more of actual good experimental and gameplay focused videogames with well designed gimmicks. Instead we got nothing, PC mogged everything and the other consoles barely had exclusives worth playing because they could be enjoyed better on PC. The only point in buying a PS3 wasn't for the casual games but for the ability to play online with my school friends
