Oh, it is a good game...at best. The graphics (or art style), music and characters steal the show in the game. It's, unfortunately, a game you play for everything except the gameplay, even compared to other games that also have turn-based combat.

Let's just agree to disagree. I consider Hellbound & Debriefed a bad game, I wish I liked it like its sequel.

I think they were trying to make it have similar interactivity and exploration to Persona 5 but just didn’t have the budget.

Anyway yeah same. Persona with magical girls was a great idea but the game part is really dry.

BR 1+2 are in my top ten best games ever made honestly

Incredibly beautiful, pretty everything, story, settings, the customization of the school and fixed xp system in 2 make it so liberating. I fucking love this series and hope it continues, I’ll preorder day one if they announce a third.

Same honestly
Even started playing the Atelier games purely because I liked BR so much, some of which I really like although BR still remains at the top and I hope the series gets to continue at some point
