The Ogryn that arent cannon fodder, namely the ones who can remember their own name, count their own fingers or respond to verbal commands are chosen to lead other Ogryn and are given implants to raise their intelligence slightly. Try every weapon, the higher difficulties will revolve around dealing with waves of Carapace armor. Step up in difficulty the moment you feel like the current is a breeze. Wipes usually happen fast and snowball after one party member gets netted during hordes. Never assume the other teammembers heard that Trapper and that they will probably deal with it, never relax until you see it in the Killfeed.

The game also withholds a ton of information from you. After 300 hours, I got the urge to play psyker for the first time and you know what, I think it's going to be my favorite class. Managing the peril meter is super fun and adds another level of risk /reward on top of everything.

Crushers are the only problem I haven't yet figured out how to deal with tho. I honestly think they should just remove crushers from the game. They always force players to bring counter carapace weapons which limits build variety.

For Crushers Dueling fucks them up like on every other class, out of all the staffs Voidblast wins out rather well since it also knocks down any Crushers you dont kill. For Blitz then Brain Rupture is the way to go, Kinetic Flayer will expedite the process.

Beyond that I agree: There are so many weapons in the game and even if you have a coordinated group, not being able to dent the ten Crushers feels bad. I really think either giving them an exposed body part aswell as having fire/blaze tick as Unyielding, or greatly reducing their number, treating them slightly more common than Monstrosities.

They said in a dev diary that animating a single new weapon takes them months so even the kroot is a long shot and it might end up being a human bounty hounter.

Fortunately the writers of the game knew the "hehe he's a RETARD STUPID get it??? LOL" would get incredibly boring after 5 minutes. But the ogryns are still pretty stupid, just not retarded 2 year old stupid. If Ogryns were literally retard tier they even wouldn't know how to put their pants on.

Most players think the 'smarter' ogryns (bodyguard and bully) have the bonehead chips to improve intelligence, but they don't. Dialogue says bodyguard wants it (and he'd be a good candidate for it, he's naturally curious, fairly benevolent, and wants to be smarter) while the bully ogryn doesn't want the chip - and he's right, not only is he clever enough without it but he's got the temperament and thought process of an ork warboss so he'd be dangerous with the chip.

One of the ogryns (brawler) has the bonehead chip but it's malfunctioned and he's ironically the dumbest of the three.

Genestealers are incredibly dangerous and can square off against Terminators, but lore and gameplay are inconsistent at the best of times, you get to kill a lot of them in Rogue Trader (though Rogue Traders and their retinues tend to be pretty busted themselves)
The real trouble with Genestealers is that if you're fighting pure breeds, then you've had a Cult problem that went unchecked for generations, which means you're going to be fighting way more Tyranids and halfbreeds afterward, to say nothing of what a Tyranid infestation generally means for a planet's eventual fate
Nurgle is a more immediate threat since you've got both disease and heresy to contend with, but Tyranids will eventually fuck you and the heretics up real bad

Crafting is fine now. There's no RNG to the weapon perks or blessings anymore so the only thing you have to worry about is the stat spread roll but it's super fast and easy to buy weapons from the armory until you get the one with the right stats.
Arbites is great and all his weapons are pretty fun. I do wish you could get the shotgun revolver he has without the shield though.

Id say very unlikely. They might occasionally utilise zenos mercs in extreme circumstances and where its not going to be associated with them. I think its even less likely for an Inquisitor to mix zenos with his own Inquisitional agents. Then again the entire premise of Darktide is pretty silly, you're a squad of disposable nobodies, yet you purge heretics and Daemons on a level that rivals or supersedes a squad of veteran Astartes.

It's hard to come up with new classes because a lot of Guard varieties and specialists are already either skins or just covered by weapons like a Catachan.

Yeah kinda, so initially they infect a bunch of hosts in secret and they're the grotesque hybrids that serve the hivemind/patriarch. The hybrids infect more people and by the 3rd and 4th gen create cult members that can pass as humans, by the 5th gen you end up with pure genestealers for some reason. The 3rd and 4th gen hybrids will recruit regular humans under whatever pretenses they can as part of their espionage and sabotage tactics in preparation for a takeover. Anyone actually willing to join is treated the same as their victims, just get turned into a hybrid.

It gives me immense depression that the era of Warhammer 40k I love the most is Warhammer 30k, the Great Crusade, the Horus Heresy and there is an amazing animated full extensive series on Youtube of the Horus heresy, multiple hours long with huge battles, all animated, with the Primarchs and named characters, famous battles.
Yet... I can't watch it... Because the entire thing is made by a Russian and it's narrated in Russian and I don't understand Russian, there is no English version and Youtube closed captions/ auto translate is a mess.
