You can use both of those things to your advantage when turning, slow down before the corner but if it looks like you won't be able to make it, turn and hit the handbrake when the roll is at its fastest to get a reasonably controlled drift.

I will be 100% honest, this game becomes legit awful in the last two stages.Up until stage 4, this game really does offer an unique and thrilling experience. The tense moments of barely holding ur car from crashing at high speed while battling ur opponents, the story, the way the stuff like the parking lots look, its all wonderful. But come about stage 4 the entire gameplay side of the game literally just dies. Wanderers and Bosses become actually unbeatable without cheese and the game straight up has races that are basically unbeatable. The 7 boss fight marathon is not only actually impossible to do with extra settings on, which is retarded, but even then the boss fight is impossible without waiting to start it somewhere near a corner infested part of the highway and then doing your best to throw all the bosses into traffic, and even then its basically a total rng fest as to whether or not you'll pass the battle, and stage 5 is just, probably the worst car gameplay experience I've ever played.I absolutely love this game's theme and atmosphere, and the first 3 stages make up for an honestly amazing gameplay experience too, but stage 4 and 5 remind me why these midbudget racing games died in favor of stuff like Horizon and why Need For Speed was always just a better offer. Buying a game only for the last 30-50% of it to be basically unbeatable is just an awful, awful experience.Hopefully modders create some sort of car rebalance bass to make all the cars closer in performance and closer to the rivals.

I'm very confident it's not possible to beat them without nitro unless you get supremely lucky. Even with the overtuned V6 you just don't put enough power down fast enough and you can't really stack enough defensive perks to catch up in time. Did the other anon actually manage to do it?
