Literally WHY did they price it at $70. Mania was $20. Forces was $40. Even fucking Frontiers was $60, and that was meant to be the big showstopper open world re-invention. Why is the fucking kart racing spinoff 70 bucks?If they had gone for 40 or 50, this would have been the most effortless victory over MKW ever. I cannot fathom their logic. The Sonic brand is on the up, but still not sufficiently repaired to warrant that pricetag. Even Mario only scarcely gets away with it, and that's with an army of loyal drones at their beck and call.

For all the pricing complaints, you can easily get Mario Kart for $50 for now until they kill the bundle.Sonic is $70, and has a DLC for $30 on top of it.
I can't feel bad about $70 games failing, even if the game itself is good. It was a decision made based on nothing except the assumption people would just roll over and take it.
