>>722505773Both the SNES and PSX versions have their strengths. When I want to replay, I tend to alternate between them. I think I prefer the PSX version overall because of all of the extra content but it has one major problem. I suppose because Cless hitting an enemy doesn't knock them back if the attack doesn't deal damage (and you can't change weapons mid-battle), they decided to change the way damage resistance works. In the PSX version, 50% damage resistance means a 50% chance to deal no damage, not dealing 50% less damage with each hit. This is a huge problem with fights like Origin where the boss is resistant to almost everything. You try to interrupt their spells and your attack randomly does no damage, so the spell goes off and your party is fucked.
