>>722508120They are such different games. Deus Ex is just System Shock with better writing, very linear. Cyberpunk is a cross between GTA and Far Cry with by far the best world that has been crafted. The city itself is worth it.

Mankind divided has excellent gameplay but the main story is pretty boring and the game was clearly cut in half, sometimes it even feels worse than that, it feels like "act 1" of a deus ex game. Anyone else think it's weird that half of MDs is actually side content? Wonder if they were working on side content for a full on massive game and ran out of time and budget so they just had to end the story at a fairly random point, feels so unbalanced

The city is the best area ever created in gaming, open world or not, there is more detail in a small area than in other entire open worlds. The cutscenes are great, always in first person as to not break the immersion, with characters that are actually well written with good dialogue. Building your character early on is super fun, while it's not as complex as a proper RPG, the way you build your character actually changes the way you play and you get noticeably stronger, the game is not very well balanced and it's too easy so when you reach near max level and have all the cyberware you want it gets a bit less interesting unfortunately, but the combat is always fun and snappy. I enjoy it more and more, I'm on my third playthrough.
