>>722513000Why is there no video game about running Valve and protecting Steam from marxist infiltration, government regulation, corporate espionage and Globo Homo? I demand a Gaben simulator. With a deep sea Atlantis aliens hidden ending.

>>722516732Gladly. I've been playing since early access and I have almost 400 hours on it and I'm still not tired of it. You can play solo or up to 6 players in a server or mod it to have more than 6 players. The in game sandbox settings let you customize the difficulty to your tastes. Even though it's Half Life inspired it doesn't play like Half Life. You're encouraged to use weapons that you craft instead of military weapons. Base building is so much fun, if you're creative you can some absolutely wild shit. As much as I hate plebbit, the sub for the game has some really awesome bases including one guy who made an entire wrestling arena complete with using mannequins as the wrestlers and audience. If you want to build a relatively simple base you can do that too. I love the base building in this game and it's just fun turning a section of the facility in to a comfy home which is why I like leaving cookies, cake, and other food out on the table. You can decorate with plants, furniture, shelves, lights, and paintings like pic related. In my base I have a collection of mannequins with all of the enemy outfits and a backpack collection. The game starts off a little slow but once you start to understand the mechanics and get your footing it really picks up. As you progress you unlock more advanced things to build and you go from making simple spears and plastic shields to hard light shields, lasers, and jetpacks. I definitely recommend playing with friends because it's hilarious and it's easier to build things when you have pack mules to help you carry stuff but most of my time was solo and I still had a great time. If you choose to buy the supporter edition you get access to home worlds which are non story related locations where you can build bases. Right now there is one available called Torrii which is a Japanese temple themed location and they have teased a possibly Greek based location. The devs have said they plan to keep adding content to the game.
