the combat basically goes nowhere from the start of the game, and there's a lot of it. and neither does the story, since it's very drawn out world building and setup for some fresh new adventurers. so its massively overrated by Kiseki fans, but by no means bad. so long as your expectations are in like with it being a B-player in the JRPG world, it's a fine experience. not a GOAT as the core fans might sell it as.it's a lot better than visions of mana, and probably not quite as good as romancing saga2.
