Better gameplay but worse atmosphere. Both are good games. 2 is a lot shorter too.

It was fun but the teleporting niggas with guns were pretty fucking annoying on higher difficulties if you didn't have a shotgun. I don't like the ending, it kind of sucks we will never get another game but apparently there's an official comic which takes place after The Darkness II and it's shit.

It was cool and the quad-wielding was really neat. I also enjoyed playing the co-op missions with friends.
