>>722531150Beating RE4 (OG) for the first time. The credit roll with the pictures of the villagers being happy and living their lives slowly turning into Saddler showing up and people getting sick and the final picture is one of the plagas erupting. 10/10 capstone to the incredible game.

Persona 5
Returnal. Went into that game without really any info on what kind of game it was or what to expect other than it was a rogue like, something I don't have much experience with outside of Hades and a few other games. But man that was a fun game. Great atmosphere, gameplay that was never boring, going through the biomes time and again was actually a lot of fun. The same areas you recognize each run just put together differently each time with different groupings of enemies. It was difficult, but not punishingly so. I only really struggled with the first boss a few times when I was still pretty fresh at the game. Once I got in the groove of playing it I never died to a boss again after that, only times I died was due to the regular enemies being honestly more punishing than most bosses in some biomes depending on which ones spawned in which areas. The winter biome at the end was probably the hardest one. I just really enjoyed the game and once I platinumed it and did the DLC I felt kind of empty that there wasn't any more of the game to play. I'm actually really looking forward to Saros, if it's anything like Returnal I'm sure I'm going to like it a lot.

The Red Memory sequence in Silksong was a fucking punch to the heart for me. I dunno why but it literally made me tear up.

>>722531816Yeah, the ending where Angela finally gets her shit kicked in was 10/10. A shame you have to go through that slog of a true ending to get the full story.

>>722531150Astlibra
>>722531150Persona 3.
>>722531150Rogue Trader for sure. I've been playing it in August for 8-12 hours a day, catching breaks only to get some sleep. I lost track of time near the end. The OST was blasting full on in my room for days and days and days on end. A game surely flawed, deeply in some regards. Yet still very immersive, atmospheric and surprisingly good written. Sure, it can't compete with the behemoth that is BG3 >>722537261 in terms of budget, production values, scale or even technical execution. But what it has, it uses to the full extent to create a world and show you your rightful place in it. It creates so much with so little, it's kind of admirable, if a bit sad to think what it could have been with a 400+ million busget. Still a great game though.
