I'm going to bet it's never coming back with gaytracing ruining any potential for shadow based stealth gameplay too. I think gaming is just kind of over at this point in my life. There's SOME games I know about, but it's like two. Styx Shards of Darkness and another game called Sleight of Hand. That's it. I don't think I can ever really get the period of gaming I liked back, being the late 90s to early 2000s. MGS 3 got a remake, but so what? that doesn't equate to new games. And Hitman was easier to keep alive for a reason.

In preparation of borderlands 4 release, I played the whole borderlands franchise since I never finished any of the games despite playing them from time to time. I really enjoyed 2, tinas dlc, pre sequel and claptrap dlcs, borderlands 3 was meh, besides the dtory being shit, gameplay felt monotonous and kinda boring. The borderlands 4 vault haunters wont stop yapping, its even worse than 3. Rogue-like element is lacking (map and enemy encounter are more or less the same, limited build variety, boring permanent upgrade), combat system is shallow, difficulty is only added by multiplying mobs hp and attack power...If you have played the original Little Noah mobile game, it could be a 6/10 for nostalgia bonus point, otherwise it's just 4/10.
