>>722538127pretentious
idk why the mermaid kills you at up until you reach a certain point, then she decides fuck it and resurrects you instead also no idea why people have the 'they wanted you to reach the end' thing considering the guards kill you on sight the game doesn't really make any sense but I still enjoy it
I don't remember much of it, but I only played it once
>>722538365I imagine they wanted something to reach the end, they couldnt discern all the way down the chain of command that it was you.>>722538268Youre a midwit, its just a spooky vague puzzle game. There is literally no dialogue or conveyed information. Literally only retarded chimps get upset at art
>>722538127the shockwave ost is pure kino. still listen to it sometimes years later.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qd4w_XFFOsk
>>722538127Ending was unsatisfying to me.The boy and the water monster should bang
>>722538365The mermaid kid is stupid, not malicious. She never intended to kill you while she was chasing you around. She just wanted to get you out of the submersible to fix you. But if she does that too soon you'll die much too far away from the machine and she won't be able to fix you. When she finally catches you, you just happen to be close enough to the device she plugs you into that she's able to modify you before you're completely dead. It just wouldn't have worked at any other point because you'd have been in cardiac arrest too long and there would be nothing she could do. But she didn't understand that part.
>>722538127I enjoyed both it and Limbo. Solid "puzzle" platformers that don't overstay their welcome. Did they ever do anything else or was this it?
>>722540948they're working on a 3rd game but taking their sweet time. all we have is concept art so far, seems like a sci-fi open-world thing >Our current project is a 3rd-person science fiction adventure set in a remote corner of the universe.hoping for a TGA reveal, but I've also hoped it would show up at the last 3 of those
>What if a platformer had slow sluggish controls with only a basic jump?>What if a puzzle game only had simple block pushing puzzles for 3rd graders?>What if a horror game but you respawn 4 seconds back?>What if a story game with no interesting characters, themes and a single event?
>>722538127It was fun as a one off. I don't remember it being overpriced either but could be wrong.
>>722538127It's Limbo 2 so it's pure kino and our game
