How long does it take to make a fucking Telltale game?

Back when they were churning Walking Dead chapters out, a few months tops. Nowadays...
Does time have a limit?

But seriously, are there really people out there looking forward to this? I didn't even know telltale was still a company. This is gonna be trash.

>Telltale is trash
Are they, though? Walking Dead 1, Wolf Among Us, Batman 1 and 2... they had some great stuff. If they only got someone in the studio to put in some actual gameplay to accompany the dialogue, they could've really had something.

I liked them before walking dead S2, I miss sam and max

They were fine when they made games. Sam & Max, Wallace & Gromit. Then they switched to glorified VNs. Glorified VNs with only a single route. Where your choices didn't fucking matter.

I doubt it is even being worked on. The studio nu-Telltale hired to develop it got told to stop working on it, and then they went and made a completely different game in the meantime.

Way to read, retard. I said this game is going to be trash like their other new shit. Why bring up games from over a decade ago? You think it's the same people? Also, not mentioning tales from the borderlands as the most kino outs you as a dumb ass.

You answered your own question within your post. They "made" some great stuff in the past, but even then, those major projects still had their shortcomings (linearity, TWAU ending on a massive cliffhanger, etc.). Instead of learning and working on their mistakes, they just went full retard and proved to everyone that, no, the good times were a fluke of time and place, and that anyone wanting consistent quality should look elsewhere.

To me, everything after the second episode of TLOU Season 2 is fanon. Clem stays with Kenny in the lodge, the other group moves on, and none of the weird dykeshit stuff happens.

S4 is a decent end point for me, or at least a stopping point in which I can start to make my autistic headcanons about how Clem got a new leg, started to improve the lives at the school, probably had a some new adventures when the big war that's happening off-screen during the season reached the school, the war ends and things got peaceful and civilization begins to be rebuilt, with her becoming the leader of some important settlement 30 years in the future.

I’m pretty sure all the writers left to work on dispatch
