Is Vengeance worth playing if I enjoyed Strange Journey and both IVs? I was told the vanilla game was mediocre.

You’re saying Vengeance fixes some of these things and it’s actually worth playing? It still uses environmental story telling and is just as gay if not worse because the twink goes on a gay edgy revenge arc because the robot got killed on him. But even that fizzles out at the end and becomes literately nothing. You get more cutscenes but the story is mostly the same, even with the same throne case at the end. And even as a V fag that thinks IV is shit in comparison I have to be realistic about these facts. I like the environmental story telling and the story it tells but if you liked IV for the tons and tons of pointless world building and the """atmosphere""" of running around Tokyo to do the same mini corridor dungeons over and over again you will hate V. And that's why IV fags and V fags constantly throw piss and shit at each other.

Norn is one of my favorite demons, I try to fuse her in every game and enjoy her top tier wind spam. But in SMTV she's not a Garu/Force machine like in other games? How do I make her work, bros...? Feels weird making her a healer and support.

>>722557376The story improve, but not by much. They gave you two rep girls as followers that bicker with each other. They gave some characters to the rest of the male characters. Protofiend died half way and he replace by someone talkative his brother while turning you into a ninja. It has an actual central antagnoist and Todd Howard plays a huge role for both Law and Chaos. It still suffer some stuff like Chaos take a back seat during a certain part of the game or reusing asset for the dungeon. The change is enough that the story is 7 or 8 out of 10. Its certainly not in the SJ tier of story but its serviceable enough to deliver Law and Chaos side of things to an extend without the "Vagueness" that was V's Base story or "Creation". There is no Neutral Route.

Reusing cutscenes and boss fights for both endings. Mastema gets shafted.
