From the last I heard, Pearl Abyss transferred all their people to Black Desert/Crimson Desert because they were awfully behind schedule and there was a chance they would pick up DokeV afterwards. But even if they do pick it up again, the game is gonna once again go through a bunch of changes until it's in a pitch that work with the current market. Before that announcement, DokeV had already gone through a crap ton of iterations.
It doesn't really sound logical if they drop it altogether cause I imagine they already threw a bunch of money into it, so they gotta at least do something with it
