No, and it completely misunderstood the OG Kratos. Nobody saw Kratos as a role model of masculinity, he was always a dumbass tragic character whose story was interesting. Nu-Kratos being remorseful and even ashamed of himself makes no sense, especially since an entire pantheon of gods pushed him to acting like he did. It's like being in a house full of abusive people, and then you're at fault if you lash out.
