Combat got better with each sequel, but they never managed to get nowhere near the amazing atmosphere of the 1st one.

WW would get there I think if the past sequences were more colorful. Another thing it was missing was the prince's narration, but on the other hand TT had it and that game SUCKED

somewhat yea, i love SoT and WW. TT feels like it's trying to recapture what it had in SoT but not really doing it well. i actually really like the aesthetic and atmosphere that WW had. the island of time almost felt alien.

also the combat engine peaked with WW. TT changes fucking sucked, enemy design was weaker, the nerfs to certain attacks sucked. the game was MUCH easier etc.
