Got attacked by a fox as a kid, fell in love with the mc who he viewed as saving him, went away and found out he was the love child heir of a noble family, eventually needs to get married per family traditions, and offers the mc an arranged but consensual marriage.

The fox god is probably just a fabrication of the mc to both explain why a noble would want her in the first place which she doesn't understand and give her a reason to resist such a good offer.

I didn't do lost in the fog until Ng++, but bosses were dying in like 5 seconds because of how crazy the charm stacking gets. Auto-counter + counter after dodge + damage buff stacking after non-focus counters + no stamina usage after counter letting you spam r1 after every dodge counter + all damage highly boosted but can't stun.
