Originally there was going to be a dynamic story mode where you could go too are into criminality or act too much like a cop and it would change the cutscenes/ending. Given how the game's development was canceled 80% of the way done and another team came into "finish" see "connect" the disjointed parts into a final product

The heists are the only cool part, and there are only 2 you do for money, there are another 2 "heists" where it's like, information or whatever - lame and who gives a shit.Sleeping Dogs had a cool fighting system and the story was interesting. It felt somewhat unfinished, like how every romantic interest just disappears after 1 date. The city was more interesting than GTA's whole map.
