I remember playing a game like 25 years which I can't find anything about anymore. Only thing I can remember is that it was set in a viking world where you had to send out parties across a world map to unlock story elements and discover new artifacts, fight other clans and that the colour scheme was sepia-brown

I had a bit of fun playing Land of Lords because for a browser game it has a fair bit of depth to it and gets kinda autistic. Sadly the dev is a retard and the game is kinda controled by guild circlejerks.Playing it made me wish for a grand strategy/citybuilding game that lets you start as a small lord with a tiny hamlet and build your way to a kingdom while playing on a huge persistent map with a bunch of other kingdoms around (singleplayer I mean)
