Video games haven't been around for that long, it's entirely possible they'll just go away, given enough time and a big industry crash at some point. Right now it seems to be a fairly lucrative industry but suits across all art-related industries seem to have attended a group lobotomy about 15 years ago and have been mismanaging every video game and movie they can. When they eventually figure out that you can't just make an Endgame every year that yields 3 billion dollars I think they might just pull out. The hopeful side of this is that AAA will fuck off and indie/AA studios will become the norm. Then corps will repeat the cycle after indies start making a bunch of money and they try to elbow their way in again, only to fail because they suck at their jobs.
Get them to play gacha on their sister's phone, and very casual games like Candy Crush, Breakout etc.
