Have you ever given up on a game?
every year i get the urge to play FTL, install then remember how dogshit the RNG is when i get asteroid + nebula + drone ship on the first jump knocking out my shields, engine and weapons and i uninstall
>>722586741Dark cloud 2 might be too long to stream. Thinking lost paradise, gravity rush 1, oe medievel remake. Those are the last games i got left
>>722586741Plenty that I've dropped with the intention to come back to some day. But these are my hard quits will not come back probably under any circumstances.DW3 hurts the most. Beautiful game with just too laborious of a combat system, and absolutely nightmarish backtracking.
>>722586741NFS Hot Pursuit and Rivals because I hate the cops and robbers stuffNFS Most Wanted 2012 because the handling on PC is abysmalLife is Strange Before the Storm was so bad that even making a drinking game out of the cringe writing wasn't enough to make me see it through
>play game>fail like a retard>rage quit>uninstall>autism kicks in>can't let go>install it again>play game>repeat until I win>
todd's a bit of a cunt to delay TES6 so much that she probably won't live to see it, or maybe that's a blessing
>>722586741she could literally die at any secondimagine wasting that time playing fucking skyrim
>>722587720She would find some autistic ass reason to hate it and go back to Skyrim within an hour
>>722587765if you enjoy it, it isn't wasted timeworking 8 hours a day for bossman to get 100x more shekels than you is a waste of timespending 12 to 16 years to learn thousands of things you won't care about and a few dozen you do is a waste of timespending hours of your life day in and day out to be angry on the internet is a waste of time
>>722587957>if you enjoy it, it isn't wasted timethats bullshit and you know it
>>722587765Being 80 with a Broken old body, no more husband and grown grandkids, literally the perfect time to become a couch potato. Way more reasonable than doing it at 20
>>722587765That's literally the perfect age for video games. It's one of the most age-proofed hobbies, and if you live that long you'll be glad you have something to do.
>>722588105You sound like someone who gets upset at unmarried people because you're trapped in an unhappy marriage that you only got into because you were "supposed to" and didn't realize you had a choice.
>>722588105bad news anon, your entire life is a waste of time, all your accomplishments are meaningless and everything on this dogshit planet is going to become space dustHope you have a nice day
>>722588105it's not, thoughwhat do you think the ultimate purpose of life is?you have a finite amount of time on Earth and are essentially obligated to do certain things (like have a job) just to exist at some level of comfortwhat do you do in between that chunk of your day and sleeping for 8 hours?entertain yourselfbe it video games, movies, music, books, working out, sex, eating food, knitting, whateverit is all in search of dopamine and feeling goodwe are wired to seek pleasure
>>722586741This lady is a meme. Her videos are completely unwatchable because of the glacial pace and her obnoxious attitude towards both her viewers and any other game she tries that isn't that piece of shit skyrim.
>>722586741How many times has she retired from Skyrim now? like 3 at least?
>>722588448I mean just look at her. She looks like a stone cold bitch, and she only likes Skyrim because she played it enough to understand it which is its own comfort.Old people get really into one thing, my dad rewatches the same like 10 series or movies while he ears pretty much daily
>>722586741>skyrim came out 115 years ago
>>722586741Most games where you kill people lately. Been playing Deus Ex cause I'm tired of killing people in games, but I'm good at it.
>>722587561the backtracking isn't really bad if you figure out where the shortcuts are, most things are less than 5 screens away, its only like once or twice you need to go further. the circuit board is pretty much the only exception where it gets a bit longer, but by the time you need to use it multiple times you have already beaten the game.Problem is the game doesn't teach you any of this shit, you never know where stuff is going to take you, guides don't tell you about most of the useful ways to get around, let alone combining multiple methods to get around fast.it gives you the tools but makes learning to use them take a very long time and with only really the circuit board mapped out (and quite poorly) if you try to play it without knowing anything its a pretty miserable experience.
>>722587765what else is a geriatric old woman supposed to do? most of them already sit in front of a tv screen all fucking day watching slop, youre a retarded nigger
>>722587765buddy she already lived most of her life, why do you think she needs to be productive with her remaining life? you're not part of some particular tribe are you?
>>722589181Play another elder scrolls at least for fucks sake. Oh wait she did that and hated it because despite claiming to be a seasoned gamer she's too fucking stupid to just fix the keybinds instead of whining like a little bitch.
>>722586741Does she play modded Skyrim?
>>722589407She used to, yeah. She had various city overhaul and new companion mods years before wabbajack and mod packs existed. I never really watched her videos, it's what I could glance from the thumbnails.
>>722589570I didn't actually expect for her to have mods and was merely messing around. How is she smart enough to be able to figure out how to install mods? Kind of surprised now.
>>722586741we can finally be free
>>722589646>How is she smart enough to be able to figure out how to install mods? Kind of surprised now.r/iamverysmart
>>722589686I didn't claim to be smart just cause I installed mods but I wouldn't see a granny who can't even bind keys to have the patience to install mods.
>>722589817You are a retarded faggot and you will die alone and unhappy.
>>722589881So much anger in one post. Who hurt you mate?
>>722589646I assume she had someone helping her with video editing and mod installation.
>>722590251There's no way granny knew how to setup MO2 while installing the obligatory fixes to make mods work so that would make sense.
>>722587765Better than wasting time on /v/ in your 20's tbqhfamalam
>>722590331The one thing that's still impressive for her age is that she still tolerated changes and felt adventurous. Most old people turn autistic and have total meltdowns when someone changes their tried and true vanilla experience.
I'm getting close to giving up on Wild Assault>had lot of fun in the pre-release tests>enjoy the game even though balance is a bit off>enters early access, buy in>S1 is decent, don't mind there's only 2 maps so far, more will be added in time>S2 they nerf the hell out of shotguns and buff characters that were already topping the scoreboards, but promise PvsE and custom lobbies are on the way, which is good since added teams makes it so nearly every round out of peak hours is you VS 4 people>S3 introduces custom lobbies, which require a special item to create that you can buy with the in-game currency(that can't be purchased), and also disables all progression, EXP, and w/e so the custom lobbies are only useful for dicking around and barely anyone uses them>devs say they had to restrict custom lobby usage because the "added strain on the servers" would cost them too much, small studio, plz understand>because somehow custom matches would do more harm than regular matches, for reasons no one can explain>somehow they had the servers to cover nearly 2000 concurrent players back at the start of early access, but 200-300 current players will overwhelm the servers if they can do unlimited custom matches>shrinking fanbase up in arms over this shit, concurrent players hitting new lowsI enjoyed and wanted to believe, but this is just getting stupid. The try-hards make it unfun in peak hours, the pre-mades make it unfun in off hours, and the devs aren't providing an escape for what remains of the playerbase.
