why do you need kernel level anticheat for a fighting game? all the info is on the screen for both players at all times, there's nothing you can get from the game's memory that could give you an unfair advantage. You may use macros to cheat, but I'm not sure the ac can detect those

Cheating in fighting games is pretty non-invasive. You only ruin one 2 minute fight, and after that you get rematch declined/blocked, or you win the set and end up quickly shooting up to grand master rank and leaving most of the population alone. It really didn't need Vanguard.
