Where is it?Are there any other Switch 2 upgrades you want?
The games that need it most won't get it.It would cut into sales of the sequel.
>>722591003Where the fuck are the resolution and framerate patches for Switch 1 games? Are they really only going to put out a few for Mario, Pokemon and Zelda and say fuck the rest? No way it takes any significant amount of time to make patches for old games, unless they're specifically forcing developers to make some shitty new content so they can "justfiy" selling the patches for $10 or $20. All the Xenoblade games should have immediately had one. I also decided to go back and finish the FE3H routes I didn't do because of FW's announcement and the game looks genuinely disgusting on Switch 2 and desperately needs a resolution patch
>>722592130All the "paid upgrades" are full on game ports. So they do actually cost a good bit of time and money. Nintendo refuses to eat that cost to onboard players to Switch 2, which is why they cost money.
Your only options are to keep playing Ultimate or to play Rivals of Aether 2
>>722591582This>what if they just do this instead of a sequelLet me see, which do you think Nintendo would rather, $20 or $80?
>>722592494They indirectly admitted as much with Zelda Musou 3 and Fire Emblem 18. Both AoC and TH NEED those patches but lol, lmao
>>722591003I want every single Nintendo game updated, sadly, Nintendo seems aware of the games people would like to get an update the most (you know, shit like Botw/totk, all the Xenoblades, FEs, Bayonetta's Astral Chain, Metroid for example),, so they wont offer more free updates, or if they do, it will be shitty games nobody care, and all the mentioned games will get a NS2 editions under the excuse the added some meaningles shit nobody asked for..., so that will be $20+ tip sir...
>>722591582>>722592494This wouldve been a nice argument IF they actually had a new smash game ready. But since Sakurai is still doing Air Riders, a new Smash wont be ready for years. They could fill the gap with an Ultimate update and Nintendo could cash the full $100
