I played the OG PC version you can't buy anymore. Kinda want to replay. I know there are mods for the S version that make it look up to par, but I think I tried them and they made the game run 2x worse while still not looking as good. What content does S add? Can I just replay OG?

>>722612672It's pretty tough, S does add quality of life of all sorts, a side quest in 2D filled with fan-service from the old games, more post game content and a superior Japanese dub folded a thousand times. It also adds side stories between act 1 and 2 and honestly I think they're pretty bad and severely impact the quality of the transition between the acts. Overall, except for the QoL stuff I think they added to an already finished game and that didn't necessarily made it better, but I'm kind of a purist.

>>722613518What's nice about the japanese dub is that the translation you get in English is now normal. No more welsh accent or rewriting an entire town to speak in haiku even though that was never even in the Japanese version at all. Unfortuatnely if you play in 2d mode it defaults back to the original English localizaiton which is pretty much an entire re-write of the story.
