Raphael from Soul Calibur II, without question. No other character in any other fighting game ever made moves and controls like him. The microspacing he can do is absolutely insane, combined with surprise long range attacks and multiple different counterattacks that require skill to actually pull off. And just the way his inputs match what the motions he makes on-screen make you really feel like you're engaging in a swordfight from an Errol Flynn film.The only other character who even comes close in Nina from Tekken 7 and 8, but without that 8-way run it's just not the same.

I think King from the Tekken series is pretty iconic. I know there are multiple Kings but in general its an iconic design. I would say he is actually the most famous Tekken character as I had normie friends in college talk about "the guy with the tiger mask" when they talked about Tekken. Yes its a jaguar mask but normies call it a tiger mask.
