You don't need any more separate programs.

The LRPS2 core is better than PCSX2 because it includes ParaLLEl-GS.

Gonna need some help installing and playing demon souls. I tried like 3 years ago and couldn't get it to work well. Did a system reset and am ready to try again but all the instructions I find now are pretty old

2) Install the firmware freely available from Sony's site
3) Install the Demon's Souls .pkg and .rap file (Myrient has clean copies)
4) Play the game

I see that there is an Appimage on github. Just download this one if you are noob, and double click to boot it. Appimage pretty much works like .exe files do in Windows
