Skyrim special edition and anniversary edition looked better than the original, had better mod support (including allowing them on consoles), included creator club stuff, and ran better. Mario Galaxy 2 removed bank toad which makes unlocking grandmaster galaxy way more annoying.

What’s the point of buying games when they’ll just be replaced with a mandatory remaster anyway? It should factor in to the cost of the game, but obviously that’ll never happen.

The real cost of Mario Galaxy is $100 (original release plus remaster), and you HAVE to buy the remaster, otherwise you’re poor/miserable.

No, the switch 2 version is not separate from the switch 1 version, if I buy it on the switch 2 I'm buying a switch 1 copy that is using the free update to make it compatible. In comparison skyrim released on the 360/ps3, the xbox one and ps4, and the series x and ps5. If later down the line there is a switch 2 version that is not the same as what is currently available, and if they put another version on the next console then I would agree.
