i.e no movement acceleration like in mario games. I understand that it's added to make the platforming harder and less straightforward, but I just don't like having less control over my movement. I'm already aware of Metroid, Mega Man, Celeste, Kirby, Shovel Knight, Donkey Kong Country and Castlevania/Curse of the Moon as platformers without movement acceleration. More recs with this style of platforming would be greatly appreciated.
