most of the people who play and enjoy the game don't come to the thread anymore because it was constantly barraged with bait and off-topic shitposting to kill the thread by a small group of dedicated autists who hated the game, the thread only has sporadic posting by people who actually play the game or coom to it and shitposter/baiters fill the rest
no idea why some people have such a hateboner for the game; even steam discussions are constantly full of shitposts and bait
I'm personally pretty sure even these "gaming is healing" threads are just a direct continuation of the autism campaign against the game because they paint it in a bad light, there is never any real discussion about the game and all the examples of gameplay that get posted are always literally the worst examples imaginable
in general /vg/ threads really aren't a good indicator of the people who play games
/wowg/ and /xivg/ are good examples, /gsg/ is the prime example from the past, /tesg/ atleast used to just be screenshot/avatarpost central, /codg/ is filled with people who are perpetually angry at the game etc.
